Star Patrick Murray, most famous for taking on the role of Mickey Pearce in the iconic comedy series Only Fools and Horses, has left us at 68.

During 2021, the actor shared that he received a diagnosis of lung cancer and had an surgery to extract a lung tumor in its early stages.
He said in 2022 that his oncologist had told him that his “lung cancer was gone and that the growth in his liver was getting smaller”, but during April 2023 he revealed it had recurred.
Career Roles
Patrick Murray starred as Mickey, a dim-witted friend of David Jason’s Del Boy and the role of Rodney Trotter, across two dozen episodes of the comedy series between 1983 to 2003.
Prior to his role in the series, the performer starred in motion pictures like Quadrophenia, Scum, and Curse of the Pink Panther.
Additional television roles included the nineties comedy series The Upper Hand, The Bill, ITV Playhouse, and Bergerac.
