In a concluding discussion, the legendary performer Ozzy Osbourne proclaimed he wouldn't change a thing about his life, appearing in a poignant program recorded before his passing.

The rock legend passed away during the summer month at the age of 76, a short time following an all-star goodbye performance in Birmingham.

An incredible manner to go out that event turned out to be, he commented during a last discussion for the film.

The film featuring the Osbournes followed the final three years of his existence and aired this past Thursday. The one-hour film was initially planned to be screened this past August, but was postponed to respect the relatives' requests to wait a bit longer.

In the film, his daughter Kelly noted how everyone was crying at the venue during his rendition of his track Mama, I'm Coming Home – a song written for the Osbournes by the late rocker.

I couldn't get the words out, recalled Ozzy, adding that it felt unbearable to remain in a chair on a throne during the show because of a severe back injury.

The sole aspect that proved extremely aggravating to me, I needed to stay in place rather than moving freely onstage, the iconic performer said.

I longed to rise and perform fully. It was very humbling to remain in that seat for nine songs.

In addition to his band, the concert included shows from an array of artists they influenced, including notable rock bands.

Physical Difficulties

Ozzy, who revealed in 2020 that he had Parkinson's disease, was shown post-event declaring his stepping away from the spotlight.

Initially famous for his performances and legendary exploits, the British singer and his family relocated to LA in the early 21st century and gained prominence via their innovative series, the reality series.

The program tracks Ozzy and Sharon as they planned their goal to return to their residence in Hertfordshire, UK.

I don't want to rest in the United States, he declared in the documentary.

It also shows his physical therapy sessions and using equipment aided by prosthetic back and leg supports through his dedicated attempt to appear onstage a final time.

He seeks that moment to bid farewell to his audience respectfully, stated Mrs. Osbourne.

His daughter Kelly – appearing in the film with her brother and sister, his additional offspring with Sharon – offered: I consistently believed my dad was invincible. Yet the song subject proved vulnerable after all.

Artistic Impact

As the voice of his band, the Birmingham-born musician is credited as one of the founding fathers of heavy metal, thanks to songs like Iron Man and Paranoid.

But he had a litany of health problems. He was seriously injured in a quad bike crash in 2003, and experienced spinal trauma during a nighttime accident several years back, finally causing him calling off his lengthy final tour.

His memoir, Last Rites will be posthumously published soon.

An extract published indicated that the deceased musician got sepsis in January, and his survival was uncertain at one stage.

The whole family practically assumed I wouldn't make it, he expressed.

He further disclosed he underwent treatment for eight days in medical care following his relocation to England this past May as a result of issues related to his cardiovascular health.

And he wrote prior to departing LA, he substituted his former dependencies related to narcotics and liquor with produce. I grew dependent on the fruit temporarily, he remarked.

Not simply ordinary apples, mind you. They needed to be the specific brand... I got to the point during which evenings I ingested multiple apples.

He continued: It reached a stage which demanded to join Pink Ladies Anonymous. It's surprising I never arose someday with an apple tree growing from my posterior.

Last Honors

After his passing, Ozzy was given a touching goodbye as his coffin made a last trip through his home city, observed by numerous supporters who chanted his name.

An additional program about the last six years of his existence, called his final documentary is set to air on Paramount+ this autumn.
